Members publishing alone or sponsoring a non-member co-author (in a 1:1 member/non-member ratio or greater) are not required to pay page charges, except if color plates are necessary.  However, whenever the proportion of members is less than that, page charges apply as indicated below.

 Color plates are charged the cost of R$ 300,00/plate* but ZOOLOGIA is offering the possibility of printing black and white pages but free color version of the same plates in the pdf version (online version and reprints).
